How long should a media kit be?
One page or ten? The honest answer on media kit length, what to cut, and why the best kits are shorter than you think.
Build a free digital media kit and rate card at adliked.com/yourname.
Start freeOne page. That's the answer for almost every creator, and here's why.
The person reading it is busy
A brand manager reviewing a shortlist spends under a minute per creator on the first pass. Your kit's only job in that minute is to answer five questions: who is your audience, what are your numbers, what do you make, what does it cost, how do I book you. Anything beyond that is competing with those answers for attention.
What fits on one page
- Positioning — name, niche, one sentence
- Key stats — followers, engagement rate, story views (dated)
- Audience — age, gender split, top countries
- Work — 3–6 content examples, one case study with results
- Rates — per format, with what's included
- Contact — email and booking link
If that sounds like a lot for one page, it isn't — it's six blocks. The full layout is in our influencer media kit guide.
When longer is fine
Two pages maximum, and only if you have multiple genuinely different case studies or a large multi-platform footprint that doesn't compress. Past two pages, you're writing for yourself, not the brand.
What to cut first
- Your origin story (one sentence of positioning covers it)
- Every collaboration you've ever done (pick the best two)
- Vanity metrics without dates (a number without a date reads as old)
- Generic photos of you holding products (show the actual content)
The test
Send your kit to a friend who doesn't know your niche. If they can't tell you your audience and your cheapest rate in 60 seconds, cut more. Ready to build the one-page version? ADLiked keeps you honest — the template only has room for what matters.
Build it online instead of in a file
